Festival of Trees raises nearly $600,000 for local healthcare

Syncrude is a proud supporter of the 2016 Festival of Trees which took place this past weekend and raised $595,000 (net) in support of the Northern Lights Health Foundation.

Over 140 sponsors, 250 volunteers and 7,000 guests came together to enjoy the 27th annual Festival of Trees in Wood Buffalo.

The three-day Festival included the Ladies Holiday Luncheon, Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, Festival Gala, Christmas Family Fun with Santa, and weekend-long Santa’s Workshop, Gift Shops and local entertainment.

Over the past 27 years, the Festival of Trees has raised over $7 million (net) for local health care, and over 30,000 volunteer hours have been invested by thousands of community members.
