Syncrude employees shine in support of the United Way

Syncrude employees came together to raise more than $2.1 million during the 2015 United Way Employee Campaign.


The annual campaign supports the United Way in Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Calgary, helping each community provide vital services for residents.

“It was a lot of hard work, but it was also a lot of fun,” said Dave Evoy, Syncrude United Way Employee Campaign co-chair. “The money raised by Syncrude employees will go a long way in helping so many get the support they need during 

Syncrude kicked off its 37th United Way Employee Campaign on September 10, 2015 with a $400,000 corporate donation to the Fort McMurray United Way campaign and $15,000 corporate donations to the campaigns in Edmonton and Calgary.

Syncrude is a company comprised of caring and giving people and that was evident again this year as employees donated their time, talent and funds to support this great cause,

Syncrude would like to thank everyone who supported its 2015 United Way Employee Campaign. Funds were raised through various employee-driven initiatives including personal contributions, food and merchandise sales, a slo-pitch tournament and fitness challenge.
