Syncrude Research and Development has been named one of 24 finalists for the 2014 ASTech Awards by the Alberta Science and Technology (ASTech) Leadership Foundation. The awards recognize innovation and all finalists represent a group of leaders who are paving the way for future innovation in science and technology in Alberta.
“I am amazed at the diversity of work that we at ASTech are able to recognize this year,” says Sue McMaster, ASTech Foundation Executive Director. “We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the accomplishments of the 25th anniversary finalists. There are truly amazing things happening in Alberta.”
The ASTech Foundation is a not-for-profit organization showcases substantial achievements in science and technology in the province and celebrates them in order to inspire future innovation and leadership. Since 1989, the organization has awarded ASTech awards to over 500 individuals, organizations and teams that have contributed significantly to the success of science and technology in Alberta.
Selected by a panel of judges, the finalist will be recognized for their contributions and the winners announced at the 25th Anniversary ASTech Awards Gala on October 24, 2014.
