Syncrude Boreal Open links with college foundation

When more than 150 PGA TOUR Canada pros tee off at the Fort McMurray Golf Club later this month, they will help student-athletes at Keyano College compete in other sports.

The Keyano College Foundation will benefit as the Syncrude Boreal Open’s partner charity for the next three years.

“Syncrude and our employees are pleased to get behind the foundation in supporting student athletes,” says CEO Mark Ward. “The money raised at the Syncrude Boreal Open will help them represent Keyano and the community as a whole in their sport.”

Wade Kolmel, the college’s Director of Sport and Student Wellness, appreciates the opportunity to partner with the Syncrude Boreal Open.

Our athletes are honoured to be the beneficiaries of this generous donation by Syncrude.
